City Gallery is the first exhibition hall in Hong Kong with the theme of its comprehensive town planning to shape the city as Asia's World City, providing an exceptional exhibition experience to showcase the achievements of Hong Kong’s town planning in our past, present and future.  

The museum is housed in a two-storey building next to the parade ground of Hong Kong Correctional Services Academy in Stanley. It has an area of 480 square meters with a collection of some 600 artefacts. The museum comprises ten galleries with one mock gallows and two mock cells. A mock guard tower stands on top of the building, which highlights the theme of the museum.  

AFCD Lions Nature Education Centre is situated at Tsiu Hang Special Area, Sai Kung. The 16-hectare Centre consists of five exhibition halls and some outdoor featured zones. The Centre promotes nature education, field studies and eco-tours for schools, organisations and the public. It is a fascinating place equally suitable for adults and families.  

A variety of exhibits are displayed at the Postal Gallery, such as commemorative stamps, special stamps, running proofs of stamps and historical postal items. While strolling through different corners of the Gallery, visitors will discover how the postal system evolved over time, and the role it played in establishing social bonds with the rest of the world.  

The Police Museum describes the general history of the Hong Kong Police Force through historical photographs, uniforms, equipment, firearms and other artifacts. Through the revitalisation project, the Police Museum links the indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, and adds fashionable elements such as staircase paintings and street murals, as well as additional “check-in places” for taking photographs. Various technologies also used in the museum to add interactive elements to the exhibition.  

The "Fire and Ambulance Services Education Centre cum Museum" gives a detailed introduction to the history, culture and development of the Hong Kong Fire Services Department for more than 150 years, the Education Centre cum Museum will further educate the public on basic fire safety and ambulance knowledge, contingency methods/ what to do in case of fire and public first aid skills. The Education Path at the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) Headquarters at Kowloon Bay is intended to promote awareness of green building technologies and to introduce the works of EMSD that are closely related to daily life of people. It comprises 3 exhibition areas and a rooftop viewing gallery that offers a breathtaking view of an array of over 2,000 photovoltaic panels which altogether has a total area exceeding 3,000 m2. The Urban Renewal Exploration Centre (‘UREC’) has been providing students, community organisations and visitors with information about the urban renewal in Hong Kong, including the problem of urban decay and the mission and work of the Urban Renewal Authority. It presents a real-life experience of dilapidated housing, interesting exhibits, interactive multimedia facilities and sharing corner. (visit/guided tour by appointment)  

An exhibition hall of the Antiquities and Monuments Department, displaying Hong Kong's architectural monuments, latest archaeological discoveries, etc. The Museum also regularly organises lectures, workshops, guided tours, etc. to introduce the public, especially students, to Hong Kong's cultural relics.  

Established in 1993 by the Antiquities and Monuments Office with the full support of the Ping Shan Tang clan, the Ping Shan Heritage Trail takes visitors to various historic buildings linked by a convenient walking route. The AMO and the clan collaborated again in 2007 to open the Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre, which introduces local folk culture and heritage along the Trail.  

The Po Leung Kuk History Museum collects, organises, protects and restores the cultural relics of Po Leung Kuk. It presents Po Leung Kuk's achievements in the fields of society, education, leisure and culture, as well as exhibitions and offer guided tours. (visit/guided tour by appointment)  

The Museum of Fine Arts Gallery is the oldest continuously operated museum in Hong Kong, and has built up a diverse collection of many Chinese cultural relics and artworks. Chief among the collections are ceramics and, in addition to its collection of carvings in jade, wood and stone, the museum has a small but significant collection of Chinese ink painting dating from the Ming dynasty to the present and twentieth-century Chinese oil painting. UMAG also regularly hosts exhibitions of contemporary and ancient Chinese and Western art, as well as on early Hong Kong history.  

The mission of the Stephen Hui Geological Museum is to provide an attractive object-based learning facility for understanding the nature and evolution of our planet to visitors of all ages and to inspire an appreciation of the dynamic natural world of Earth Sciences, its research and its application to daily life. Through its collection, exhibits and activities the Stephen Hui Geological Museum provides a center for extra-classroom educational opportunities in Earth Sciences not only to university students but also to primary and secondary schools and the general public.  

The Art Museum of the Chinese University of Hong Kong was established in 1971. In line with the objectives of the University, it is dedicated to the promotion of Chinese culture and academic exchanges between China and abroad. It collects, preserves, researches and exhibits Chinese cultural artefacts such as paintings, calligraphy and various types of arts and crafts, and regularly holds art and archaeological exhibitions on various themes.  

The Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change, funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, was established in December 2013 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). It is the first museum of its kind in the world, offering an interactive, multimedia exhibition that showcases valuable collections and information about climate change. It is the ideal venue for the public, especially students and teachers, to champion the cause of environmental stewardship and keep themselves abreast of the latest developments on environmental conservation and sustainability. ;

Hong Kong Baptist University "Dr. Hung Xianshao and Mrs. Hung Xianshao Museum of Chinese Medicine" aims to introduce to the local and international community the profound, long standing and well established history of traditional Chinese medicine, as well as the historical development of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong. 

The Hong Kong Maritime Museum is a vibrant, cultural institution dedicated to preserving, collecting and displaying objects that tell the story about trade and maritime in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta. Today the Museum attracts 100,000 visitors annually where across 4,400 square metres more than 1,200 objects are displayed in 13 galleries on three levels. All of which uniquely overlooks a bustling Victoria Harbour.

The Hong Kong Museum of Education acquires, conserves, preserves, researches and exhibits materials related to the history, culture and development of education in Hong Kong. These items include teaching tools, school uniforms, textbooks, trophies, certificates, historical documents and photographs. The Museum regularly hosts exhibitions on various themes.  

The Hong Kong Museum of Medicine is located between Sheung Wan and Mid-Levels in the Central and Western District of Hong Kong Island. The museum is an Edwardian style heritage building and was designed by a Hong Kong architect. The aim of the museum is to promote the collection and preservation of materials of historical interest relating to the development of the medical industry in Hong Kong.  

The Scout Gallery, located on the 11/F of Hong Kong Scout Centre, was established in 1996 with the objectives for Scout members to have a better understanding of the World and Hong Kong Scout Movement as well as to capture the unforgettable moments of Scouting in the past.  

The Hong Kong Biodiversity Museum is the first museum in Hong Kong that is dedicated to biodiversity. It strives to be a natural history museum promoting environmental education and appreciation of biodiversity, fostering its preservation as a part of mankind’s natural heritage and by supporting scientific research on biodiversity. Tai Kwun Contemporary’s exhibitions are showcased in 1500-plus square metres of museum-standard galleries, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, over three storeys. Located in the new building JC Contemporary as well as the F Hall heritage building, the gallery spaces connect the new and the old, much like the spirit of the entire site.  

Jockey Club Lei Yue Mun Plus is a registered non-profit arts and cultural organisation. The objective is to explore how to realise the potential of the creative centre and develop Lei Yue Mun Village into an arts village. Visitors can tour the Lei Yue Mun Ferry and take part in pottery workshops.  

Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) spreads over 148 hectares of land on the northern slopes of Tai Mo Shan, Hong Kong's highest mountain, near the town of Tai Po. KFBG has a deep-set valley between two ridges, with a stream running steeply down through the forest. On the slopes there are forest, theme gardens, vegetable terraces, 8km of walking trails, 9km of roads, and conservation and educational facilities.

Hong Kong Children's Discovery Museum (CDM) is the city's first and only children’s museum dedicated to play-based learning experiences in the areas of language and literacy, S.T.E.A.M., culture and environmental awareness/ stewardship.  

A’ Museum is a private museum, located at the area with lots of antique dealers, the items shown in the museum are mainly the collection of Chinese ancient ceramics, especially the famous ware from Song and Yuan Dynasties, which are worth appreciating.

The Museum houses precious Buddhist artefacts and objects from across the globe. Through unique exhibitions and cultural activities, it seeks to interweave Buddhist art and culture, and present the visitors with a platform for art appreciation and spiritual nourishment. Jao Tsung-I Academy is one of the first projects under the Hong Kong Government's Revitalizing Historic Buildings through Partnership Scheme of the Development Bureau of the HKSAR Government. The Government funded the initial restoration in partnership with the Hong Kong Institute for Promotion of Chinese Culture, a non-profit organisation, for the conservation, re-planning and revitalisation work.

K11 not only displays a permanent collection of local young artists’ works, but also allows the public to appreciate different local artworks and performance during shopping and leisure through the provision of various multi-dimensional spaces. This can help enhance the communication and exchanges between local artists and the public, nurture habits of art appreciation, and allow young artists to have more opportunities for showcasing their works so as to foster the development of local art.  

Before revitalisation, PMQ is the historic site of The Central Government School and the old Hollywood Road Police Married Quarters, which is now a mixed-use arts and design venue in Hong Kong. Walking through the preserved relics and exhibits, visitors can better understand the history and past stories of PMQ, as well as the creative ideas and stories behind each artwork through the interaction with designers and artists.

The HKMA Information Centre, consisting of an exhibition area and a library, is an important resource for introducing the work of the HKMA to the community and promoting public awareness of monetary and banking matters. The exhibition area comprises three sessions: "Policy Section"; "Currency Section" and "Historical Timeline". The library contains materials for a detailed study of Hong Kong's monetary, banking and financial affairs and of central banking topics elsewhere in the world.
