Funding mode: adopting the “money-follows-the-user” approach under which eligible elderly may choose community care services (CCS) that suit their individual needs

Eligibility Criteria:

• assessed by the Social Welfare Department’s Standardised Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Service to have impairment at moderate level
• without receiving any kind of residential care services (RCS) or subsidised CCS
• currently waiting for RCS or subsidised CCS on the Central Waiting List for Long Term Care Services

Service Package Values:

• There are five service package values for the free choice of the elderly persons to suit their individual needs
• The ceiling and floor monthly voucher values for 2020-21 are $9,870 and $4,130 respectively
• The service package values will be adjusted annually based on the Composite Consumer Price Index (CCPI)
