Method
Wash grapefruit skin with salt and shredinto fine strips (avoid the white part). Take out the flesh.
Dissolve 8 pieces of rock sugar with two cups of boiling water. Then add shredded grapefruit skins and boil for 10-15 minutes.
Add the grapefruit flesh and squeeze half of lemon juice into the pot. Simmer and stir constantly until the liquid becomes thick like jam.
Pour out the grapefruit jam. Add some honey and mix well when it is cooled down.
Keep in fridge. Get a spoon of the jam and add to water or tea when serve.
You can also bring grapefruit jam, tea bag and sliced lemon to a boil. Or dilute some grapefruit jam in hot water before pouring sparkling water to more than half of a cup. Add some Ice cubes and garnish with sliced grapefruit.
