The previous article introduces something about gong - gongs are commonly used sound therapy instrument, mainly with the principle of sound resonance to lead the listener into a state of meditation and relaxation. So what is meditation? How to practice meditation?
There have been many different interpretations of the concept of "meditation", and it has caused trouble to many people to understand it correctly. Because there are different interpretations of meditation, many people have misunderstandings about meditation, believing that meditation is contemplation, daydreaming, delusion or thinking about nothing.
Meditation is actually a kind of mental exercise. Through specific movements and breathing methods, the body changes, such as heartbeat, blood pressure, breathing, etc., and even the secretion of brain chemicals, so as to achieve an inner balance and make the brain truly rest. Anyone can learn to meditate. Meditation make the inherent self-sensing system sensitive, strengthens our connection with the body and mind, and makes us better understand our physical and mental condition.
Experience tells me that learning meditation requires systematic practice and the guidance of experienced meditation instructors. Just like climbing a mountain, different routes lead to the same destination. Meditation is the same. There are many choices of techniques and methods, but the goal is the same, which is to achieve inner clarity, harmony and calmness.
In fact, general education can only develop a small part of the human brain. In addition, the unconscious field responsible for dreaming, sleeping and memory preservation is still unknown. In recent years, wellness (or mindfulness) have prevailed. Many scholars have used scientific methods to verify the benefits of meditation to the human body, indirectly making meditation more popular, especially focusing on bringing real high-quality relaxation to the body and mind.
As a meditation practitioner, persistently practicing meditation has made my life easier, my body is easily rejuvenated, and a smile can often be on my face. All practice is used to train the will. Only when you have decided to embark on the journey, you can only work hard and keep practicing with perseverance.
